Information we collect during an IT asset inventory or inventory audit:

When we conduct an IT asset inventory or inventory audit, the following information is gathered:

  • Asset name, serial number, make and model
  • Asset location – Row, rack, and u-space
  • Asset tag data
  • And any other physical data you would like collected.

Optional data points we collect upon request:

  • Elevation diagrams per computer rack
  • Location characteristics including potential risks and hazards
  • Operating system, patch levels, firmware (requires customer authorization to log onto each system).
