Getting the serial number, IOS versions, Firmware versions and general equipment configurations correct is how we commence your SMS service.
Your local SMS Field Engineer conducts this detailed audit as we order the systems and spares for HotSpares™ Services. Upon completion, your equipment is installed, powered up, tested, configured and run as if it were your production system in our local SMS Service Center.
Moves, Adds, Changes or Deletes (MACD) of equipment happens in your data center every day. If you forget to add equipment to your SMS Maintenance Contract,
we will service that equipment using Fix-IT-First and then add it to your contract and adjust your monthly billing accordingly (restrictions apply).
This is a huge benefit for you because we capture the whereabouts of assets when it breaks and this serves as the “event” for adding the device to your maintenance contract.
