Our Field Engineers initiate service coverage in your data
center by performing a complete site audit. We gather:
- Device serial numbers and firmware levels

- Equipment configurations, attachments and other peripherals.
- Operating System and version level.
- Installed features and options
.
- Equipment location
.
- Node Name/Cluster Membership.
The serial number and additional information captured is important to our Knowledge Database within our Auto Log MIS system. We are able to track parts usage, perform call analysis, and monitor repeat call histories which results in improved service levels and less downtime.

application enables us to manage asset data.The information gathered will assist you with performance monitoring, asset management, and can be ported into your own asset tracking system or into SMS’s
singlePointtm Asset Management System. This gives you an accurate hardware and software
inventory, as well a service contract visibility, warranty
visibility and much, much more.
Our Fix-IT-Firstsm service allows us to capture the asset at the point of failure.Moves, Adds, Changes or Deletes (MACD) of equipment happens to your data center every day.
If you forget to add equipment to your SMS Maintenance Contract, we will service that equipment using Fix-IT-First and then add it to your contract
and adjust your monthly billing accordingly (restrictions apply.)
