Don Doctor is responsible for advancing Systems Maintenance Services (SMS) from its origins as a local hardware break-fix company to a global leader of enterprise IT asset maintenance and lifecycle services. Don is committed to pioneering solutions that specifically address the dynamic challenges companies face in their management of complex and distributed IT environments. Under Dons leadership, SMS has grown from 128 employees in the United States to more than 650 employees throughout North America and Asia.
Prior to joining SMS, Don served as the Chairman and CEO of Encoda Systems, a global provider of back-office solutions for the media industry with more than 1,000 staff worldwide. In 1991 he co-founded Premier Systems Integrators, a leading service provider of integrated information and communication technology. Before Premier, Don was a Partner and Vice President at Spectrum Associates; he also served in various capacities with Lincoln National Corporation.
